Double space bug?

Hello,
I’m using the language tool for brazilian portuguese and it’s working fine, but I found a problem…

Double space (or triple and so on), e.g. Screenshot by Lightshot, " " or __ to illustrate, turns into no space at all, and it’s becoming a bigger problem.

Could someone check that?
