Highlighting non-suggestion

There are a lot of rules in which I choose not to give a direct replacement, since it could ruin the sentence structure, making things worse. In that case the message contains an advice. Examples:

you could use ‘a better alternative’.

As you can see, I put single quotes around it now. Would it be possible to show these suggestions just like a replacement in the user interface, without using it as a replacement?

Would more languages benefit from such an approach?

I’m not sure I understand - showing them like suggestions but not having the selectable? Wouldn’t that cause more confusion than it would help?

Might depend on the exact interface we are talking about. The one on the website is quite different from the on in the stand alone. I will get back to this later. I am trying to fully recheck the grammar file now.
