I have had two problems with LanguageTool not picking up incorrect duplicates of the words “that that,” ie “You can feel confident that that this administration will continue to support a free and open Internet.”
In another instance, it did not pick up the word the term “int” as a misspelling, even though it’s not a word.
Thanks for your report. We’re ignoring “that” because of sentences like “I don’t think that that is a problem”. I’ll see if I can find a better solution. I’ve forwarded your suggestion about “int” to the maintainer of the English dictionary (we just use that dictionary and don’t maintain it ourselves).
I have improved the word repetition rule a bit, it will be available in tomorrow’s snapshot (Index of /snapshots/).
