Wikipedia alphabetizing "see also"s

(TryHardDieHard) #1

On Wikipedia the entries in the "See also" section are supposed to be alphabetized. Can a rule be written to automate checking these specific entries?

Not easily - we see the "see also" text but LT doesn't get the information that it's a headline in Wikitext. In any case, a Java rule would be needed to check it.

I don't have any programming experience, but could we use the bullet points that are generally only on the see also section to our advantage?

I don't think they survive the conversion to plain text and even then they would end up as something like "*" which might have other meanings. I think this check is too Wikipedia-specific for LT.
