When I open LibreOffice Writer, this message appears:
Could not establish an internet connection to https://api.languagetool.org/v2/check.
Client error message:
(28) Timeout was reached

I have no issues with connection or speed. This started happening recently (a couple of months ago).

Same issue here since a few days… No other internet services has problems, also I did not change anything in my internet setup (even no router update was installed during the last days).

Same problem on mac with 24.8.4.2, message since the beginning. I have no issues with connection…

I’m still seeing this message from time to time, even today. I’m now running LibreOffice 26.2.5.2 on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I’m seeing the same behavior with LibreOffice 25.8 on Tuxedo OS (Kubuntu).
