I am trying to add words to prevent it from being counted as a spelling mistake. However when I add two words or a compound phrase it marks that as a spelling mistake. Is there a rule to get around that?
I’m not sure I fully understand the problem, could you maybe post a concrete example?

for example I want to add “apple banana” to the custom spelling dictionary that I have. However, when I add it to the dictionary any of the sentences containing “apple banana” are still flagged as a “spelling mistake” So I was wondering if there was any way that I would be able to add “apple banana” as one entity even though it is two words.
Can you try again after some time? It might take a few minutes (10?) before the new dictionary becomes active everywhere. At least that’s what happened when I just tried it.
