I’m using the Docker images combined with the Firefox addon and noticed that the results are displayed very quickly. This is good in the performance sense, but it can be distracting.
For example, when composing a longer email (several paragraphs) I would like to:
- not be distracted with LT feedback until I finished writing.
- to have a chance to read through the text at least once, in order to hone my own ability to find spelling mistakes.
- simply decelerate some day-to-day tasks.
Therefore, I would like to suggest the feature of a configurable delay in the browser addons: Either as a fixed amount of seconds or minutes, or relative to the amount of text being checked. WDYT?
PS: Firefox’ Reader Mode estimates the number of minutes reading time for a given text length. Maybe that time could be requested within the browser? That approach would have the added benefit of reducing traffic, because less partial content would be sent repeatedly.
