Auto-correct common mistakes?

Is it possible for LT to automatically correct common mistakes that I make?

E.g. I often type “regrading” instead of “regarding”

Some quite simple auto improvement could be done by regexps. A challenge could be to preserver cursor position where expected. It could correct quite a bit of simple mistakes, and thus trigger less rules.
