Cannot install LanguageTool on Windows due to invalid .appinstaller file

Hello LanguageTool Team,

I am encountering an issue while trying to install LanguageTool on my Windows computer. The .appinstaller file I downloaded from your official website shows the following error:

Error Message: “The .appinstaller file is invalid.”

Steps Taken:

  1. Downloaded the .appinstaller file from your official website.
  2. Attempted to open it, but the error appeared immediately.
  3. Verified that my system meets the requirements (Windows 10 version 1803 and later).
  4. Enabled the setting to allow app installations from any source.
  5. Retried the installation multiple times with no success.

System Information:

  • Operating System: Windows 10, Version 22H2, Build 19045
  • Network Connection: Stable

Could you please provide guidance to resolve this issue? Alternatively, if there is a standalone .exe installer, I would appreciate a link to download it.
