LanguageTool in English does not detect the confusion between the adjective “severe” and the verb “sever”. For example, no error is signaled with:
This is a sever issue.
This is a severe issue.
We need to severe the connections.
We need to sever the connections.
Well, errors are detected when using the statistics based rules but these rules are often not available when running LT locally, because the need very large files, which are not installed by default. So I think that the confusion between “sever” and “severe” deserves XML rules.
