Most dictionaries show ‘city’ only as a noun, but Collins shows it also as an adjective (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/city). It has the POS JJ in LT.
That’s another legitimate question city leaders should answer tonight.
Disambiguation rule NNJJ_NN_JJ applies the POS city/JJ to the sentence above. I think ‘city leader’ is more like a compound noun than JJ + NN.
Lexico has ‘city centre’ as a noun (https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/city_center), but Webster does not. Both have ‘community centre/center’ as a noun. Neither have ‘city leader’. I am not sure whether to add antipatterns in disambiguation for these terms, or leave the disambiguation as it is. Your thoughts?
