[en] Possible new rule: deal with/handle - 2019-08-03

@Mike_Unwalla

Hello!

“It is so hard to DEAL WITH the pressure.”

Could LT suggest replacing with:
“It is so hard to HANDLE the pressure.”
?

It is just a suggestion, not sure if it makes sense.

Thanks!

IMHO “dealing with something” sounds stronger than “handling something”.

@marcoagpinto, in many contexts, ‘deal with’ and ‘handle’ are synonyms.I understand that some people prefer to use 1 word in preference to 2 words. So, yes, the rule makes sense for some contexts.

I won’t make the rule, because I prefer to spend my time on POS, spelling, and coherency.
