German Case Rule

(Ruud Baars) #1

I notice a file being updated: german case rule exceptions. I guess the case rule could be a great addition to Dutch as well. It would especially good to replace all kinds of rules around proper names that consist of on or more ‘normal’ words, like 'de partij van de arbeid , de Nederlandsche bank etc.

Daniel, when you can spare a moment, would you be so good to ?

By the way, are there more of those Java rules that could be a positive contribution to Dutch as well? The languages are so much alike…

case_rule_exceptions.txt only seems to be used only by CaseRule - but CaseRule is Java code that would need to be adapted quite a bit for Dutch by someone who knows both Java and Dutch.

You were right. There was much more language specificness in it than I expected. I though it to be a plan multi-token check.
