How to language tool identifying the POS tag of the word

Hi All.

Please help me to know, how the language tool is identifying the POS Tags. “variety” is “NN”, i could not find this word using my custom rule. Please let me know the details for the POS tag identification on english words

I got it using the " Text Analysis". Actually, I thought “variety” is “NN” but its “NN:UN”. Now got it!!
