Java issue: Anwendung kann nicht gestarted werden (The application cannot be started)

Hi,
One of my plugin users has a problem with running “languagetool.jar”, although Java seems to be installed.

The following message is displayed:

What could be the problem?

Could you ask the user for this information? Which version of Java do they use (java -version), which operating system is that on, and did they modify any of the local file (e.g. to add their own rules)? In rare cases it might also happen that the download got damaged, in this case downloading LT again might help.
