Language Tool Desktop causes stuttering

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any solution for the performance problem given by the Language Tool desktop application it even causes that the app crashes.

My system components are:

Intel Core i7-14700KF
Ram: 16Gb

My actual O.S is Windows 11 Pro.

Using the same PC but with windows 10 did not cause this to happen to me.

Hi Christian,

I am facing problems with the LanguageTool add-on. I have a premium subscription and use the add-on every day for my translation tasks.

When the extension is enabled, the browser stutters and is unusable for seconds to minutes, and it only stops when the add-on is disabled.

Are you also addressing this issue? Should I report it on a new topic, or maybe is there a topic already where people have reported this?

By the way, I was using Win10 when the issue started happening, and I have fresh installed Win11 to try to solve it and did everything else I could (reinstalled the browser, checked for other add-ons to see if they are interfering, etc.) and I concluded the issue was caused by the add-on.
