I posted once before concerning the ngrams download. I like Language Tool and I managed to download the ngrams on my desktop computer. I have since tried several time to download it to my laptop unsuccessfullly. I asked before if the download can be broken into more than one file. I thought this possible since it extracts to three separate files. I didn’t get an answer to that question, but I did get a suggestion to use a faster download manager. I did that, but with a slow internet connection I find the download almost impossible. I hate to let things beat me, but I’m afraid I’ll have to abandon using Language Tool. My internet connect will at time run at 6 to 7 hundred kbs, but often drop to 40 or less. I live in rural America and that’s the best I can get.
A download manager should be able to continue an interrupted download. Does that not work for you?
I meant no. The file is so big it has failed 4 or 5 times before I tried the Persepolis down loader
