I recently tried LanguageTool standalone v2.8 with the option “Use above settings for the server” with TeXstudio v2.9.2. It seems that this configuration is not been taken into account by TeXstudio. Some grammar error-detections are shown in TeXstudio. The changes I make in the Options of LanguageTool are not then replicated in TeXstudio. A comparison of the error detections in LanguageTool standalone and TeXstudio shows different results. The server is started with standard configuration (http://localhost:8081/). I wanted to know if anyone experienced the same issue.
