LO DEV 6.3 adds support for Amazon Corretto — an alternative implementation of Java 8.
I tested it on LO DEV 6.3 from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86@39/2019-02-06_00.08.53/ with LT 4.4.

LanguageTool 4.4 works correctly on this configuration (LO DEV 6.3 + Amazon Corretto on Win10 x86 ).
