LT Desktop Windows Question and Comments

I have the LT Desktop App for Windows installed.
How soon will I be able to pin LT Editor to the Taskbar?
Presently, it’s only accessible from the Hidden Icon menu.
I should add that it works well in all my basic text editors, Slack, WhatsApp, but not Discord, Zoom, or Signal.
I would actually be worried of it did work in Signal.
Also, I wish it would reach out to Serif and come to some agreement on integration with Affinity Publisher 2 my primary page layout and design software. It has a spellchecker included, but nothing like LanguageTool.

Hi there,

Thank you for your submission. The LanguageTool desktop app runs in the background and shows an icon in the system tray (on Windows). It only shows in the task bar if the main window is open.

We’re happy to read that LanguageTool works well for Slack and WhatsApp. Currently, our Windows desktop-app only supports the following apps: Slack, WhatsApp, Outlook, WordPad, and Notepad.

We have forwarded your feature request regarding Affinity Publisher 2 internally.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions/requests.
