Norwegian language

Hi,

We are currently hosting our own LanguageTool server and have noticed that Norwegian language support is not available in the public version. However, we understand that Norwegian is available in the Premium version of LanguageTool.

Could you please advise on how we can enable Norwegian language support on our self-hosted server? We would greatly appreciate any guidance on licensing options or technical steps required to add this functionality.

Only spell checking is supported for Norwegian in the Open Source version, no grammar checking. I think you can activate it like this in the server.properties file specified with the --config option:

lang-no=Norwegian
lang-no-dictPath=/path/to/nb_NO.dic

The nb_NO.dic file comes from the unzipped .oxt file here (there might be more up-to-date ones on the internet).
