Hello @rjlima
Is “indigente” a depreciative word?
Both Priberam and Infopédia don’t say it is, but I have seen it being used in Portugal to offend people.
Thanks!

Ahhhh… What about “maldito”?
Both dictionaries don’t state it is depreciative, but I am almost 100% sure it is.
In its original meaning, in pt-br, indigente isn’t depreciative but can be used to be so.
Same for maldito.
Ahhhhh… thank you, the same here… “indigente” is a poor guy, but people here use the word to offend other people… “Pareces um indigente”.
I will add it to the depreciative list along with some other words I spotted today:
indigente
maldito
