I’m Jurgen, member of Digital Freedom Foundation (the charity behind Software Freedom Day)
A decade ago, Software Freedom Day was really huge (happening on almost 600 places globally) but is was gradually declining. The last few years (COVID) obviously had the number of events plummet to nearly zero. In June we started with a new team and are looking to revive the event.
An important pillar to promote FOSS as a sustainable solution, is to show examples of businesses and foundations that successfully innovate and develop products in both the spirit of Software Freedom and the practice.
I would like to reach out to the marketing team of LT as I’m convinced that the product you are delivering offers this unique quality. I think there could be ways we could work together and help each other grow.
