Test of Firefox add-on update

Please help test the latest update of our Firefox addon:

languagetool-1.0.30-test.xpi (325.3 KB)

  1. download file linked above
  • uninstall existing LT add-on, if any
  • open about:debugging in Firefox and click “Load Temporary Add-on”
  • in the file dialog, select the *.xpi downloaded in step 1
  • test the add-on, especially the new auto-check feature (hover over the icon that appears in text areas and select the auto-check option).

After I did Step 4 in Firefox 56.0.01, I got this message:

    Reading manifest: Error processing offline_enabled: An unexpected property was found in the WebExtension manifest.

Same here.

After going to Begriffsschrift – Wikipedia, selecting the first paragraph of the article and clicking the LT icon, I see the following error message (in German):

This does not happen on other websites so far. Reloading the page does not help. It happened after 19:54 German time, maybe something is in the logs.

When editing a news post on SourceForge, the LT icon doesn’t show in the expected place:

I really like the automatic checking. It makes this plugin much more useful because I can instantly see if there are issues without having to remember to press a button. :+1:
