Hello, folks!

What does mean “Guerra”?

Merci bien!

Salut!

There is no such a button in my installation. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Windows x64, Firefox 128x64, LT add-on 8.14.3 (January 15, 2025).

Also, I would prefer not to use buttons of this sort, since I really hope 3 languages to be checked.

The problem is that «Guerra» is nor an English word, neither a French word. Of course, it is not a Russian one.

«Comme» is not recognised too.

Why LT proposes me this «Guerra» from languages I never knew, I never wanted?

It seems LT detects the wrong language. You can switch languages by clicking LT’s circle button in the lower-right corner of the text field.

Still, there is no such a button, which are you talking about.
Still, I want 3 languages to be active simultaneously.

The bug repro text is:

No problem, UK can help with whatever it wants. À la guerre, comme à la guerre. No whining.

LanguageTool cannot correct multilingual texts like this. There is no language detection for each sentence.

Thank you!
Anyway, if LT detected English, why it proposes the word not from English?

New repro :upside_down_face:

“Guerra” is a somewhat frequent proper noun, as you can see here: Guerra - Wikipedia
That’s why it is included in the English dictionary.
