What happens to the rules submitted by users?

I see the commercial plans advertise they have more rules than the desktop version so I am wondering if the new rules submitted by the users are being shared back to the community and the desktop version. What’s the process?

The core contributors commit directly to the public github repo. Same for contributors who submit pull requests or rules via email.

The company behind LanguageTool has employees who (also) write rules that are premium-only and not part of the public repo.

So the best way to get the new rules is to do a pull from the repo?
