Why doesn't online tool detect what is clearly poor grammer?

I’ve been looking at LT and considering integrating it into my portal app so I’ve been running a few tests to see how good it is. I’ve not been that impressed to be honest, my latest test is the phrase below, the english is not complex but the grammar is clearly incorrect, the tool has detected none of the pretty basic grammatical errors.

Thanks for the report. I added the problem to my TODO list.

To answer the question of why it’s not detected: because nobody has written a rule to detect it. We rely on the community to contribute rules, but other than Mike almost nobody is working on English.
