Words not in the English dictionary not getting picked up

My input string = “Thanks fr the dinner”

Fr does not get picked up. Why?

Maybe if I can see the dictionary that Language Tool uses I could check myself but can’t find it in the .jar.

Some else got an answer?

Thanks for your report. You can check if a word is in the dictionary at English Speller Word Lookup (it’s not 100% exactly the dictionary we use but very close) → “fr” is in that dictionary. I’m not sure why, but I’m not a native English speaker. You might submit a bug report about this at Issues · en-wl/wordlist · GitHub.
