Is there a place to add/post unreconised words for a dictionary update? I know that there’s a local way but maybe somebody else needs them as well.

German - Austrian:

KFZ-Industrie → KFZ = Kraftfahrzeug

FPÖ → Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs - austrian political party

Alternativ ist es auch möglich, die Wörter auf https://languagetool.org mittels Copy & Paste in das Textfeld einzufügen, sie einzeln mit der linken Maustaste anzuklicken und aus dem Kontextmenü den Menüpunkt “Wort zur Aufnahme vorschlagen” auszuwählen. Der Weg ist aber vielleicht etwas umständlich.

The number of names is almost unlimited… I don’t think it makes sense to add them one by one.

I’m just posting names, which occure on a regular base.

But to make it easier I’ve agreed with Jan Schreiber, that I’m sending him our white list automatically once per month.

I think most of the suggestions here are ideal candidates for action="ignore_spelling" in disambiguation.xml.

They come from current Austrian news articles and are already a selection of often used words.

Austrian Political parties: ÖVP / SPÖ / FPÖ / BZÖ / Grüne / Neos / Team Stronach - daily

IS / Islamic State . some 800+ last year

Cybercrime - often used in context with encryption malware and ransome ware

NFL / NHL / EBEL / NBA / RB Salzburg / Rapid / KAC / Vienna Capitals - sport teams or leages 2-3 times per week

Rechbauer / UCI / Cineplexx - daily cinema info

Erdogan / Gülen - turkey discussion

Trump / Clinton - US politics

Filon - french presidential elections

My Question: What phrases / names are interesting? What should be posted? What is the scope of LT?

Er stößt mich freilich mit der Nase auf ein äußerst seltsames Problem. ‘Scotland Yard’ ist in der Datei disambiguation.xml bereits mit ignore_spelling markiert und sollte nach meinem Verständnis vom Spellchecker nicht mehr moniert werden.
Es sieht für mich im Moment so aus, als würden die letzten drei oder vier Regeln in disambiguation.xml einfach ignoriert. ‘Hyde Park’, ‘Central Park’ und ‘Buckingham Palace’ machen auch Probleme.
Ich bin hier klar überfordert. @dnaber to the rescue!
